1. Domestic: MGX Minerals Inc. wins 2019 Suzanne West Environmental Excellence Award at the Global Petroleum Show; The four finalists of the Impact Canada The Sky’s the Limit Challenge have each received up to $2M to develop cleantech solution in the aviation industry; CarbonCure has partnered with LafargeHolcim to implement its CO₂ utilization solution in two Lafarge ready-mix concrete plants in Ontario; Natural Resources Canada provides funding for Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative; Vancouver cleantech Inventys closes series C at $34M that will be used to complete its CO₂ capture plant demonstration project with Husky Energy in Saskatchewan; Recover commercializes its technology to recover and refine base oil from contaminated drilling waste; Carbon Engineering creates a research and development facility and support the design and engineering of an industrial-scale commercial plant; EDC provides loan to Ecolomondo Corporation to reduce hydrocarbon waste in landfills; Government of Canada invests $2.1M in Mangrove Water Technologies to support its zero discharge desalination technology, which will reduce the environmental impact of oil and gas sector operations; Government of Canada continue to develop Canadian energy in partnership with Indigenous peoples through Canada's Clean Energy for Rural and Remote Communities Program.

2. International: Canada and U.K. announce finalists for the Power Forward Challenge; Canada and California team up to tackle vehicle climate pollution; Opus One Solutions, leader in energy management software solutions, accelerates its growth in North American and global markets.
